In which I threaten both the costume department and one Sir Gambon.
From USA Today, two images from the very imminent-as-in-will-be-arriving-in-a-matter-of-mere-hours Half-Blood Prince trailer:

Oh hai there baby Tom Riddle. I'd say young Master Fiennes-Tiffin seems to have learned a thing or two from his uncle Ralph. But let's cut to the most important bit: I'm not ready to call it definitively based only on one tiny dark still, but Dumbledore's suit appears as if it may be purple and velvet. AS IT CERTAINLY HAD BETTER BE. Ahem.

Following directly as it does after the business with the suit, it's really tempting to make a good-natured "flaming" joke here. Anyway, this is in the cave, and clearly in the boat on the lake, likely surrounded by Inferi. Oh dear. Make me sob, Gambon!

Three more re: memories:

So yeah, trailer soon. Be back then.

Young Tom looks great! (And not too unlike Christian Coulson, which is good.)

The second picture makes me sigh.

He does look like Christian Coulson! I'm still sad he's too old to come back; I thought he was excellent in CoS.

Hmmm, purple and velvet, yes please.

Here's hoping. Maybe it'll be clearer in the actual trailer.

A release at 9PM your time obviously isn't ideal for me. I'm going to turn off my computer soon and will try to catch up tomorrow morning. If the trailer is indeed released at AOL, and if it were a "regular" trailer then this would be my best guess for the URL.
Unfortunately, for the "big" releases (like the recent Bond trailer) they tend to alter the links to prevent link guessing. So my confidence isn't particularly high at all. But maybe you want to try your luck a few times once the release gets closer.
Either way, it's usually easy to get direct links from AOL, so you should be able to find downloadable links soon once the trailer is online. Good luck! :)

Oh, you're the best. A clickable link and everything. Thank you! I'm going to give it a shot every once in a while.

The 9PM Eastern release time is so strange. I'm not sure who that's supposed to be ideal for, but it doesn't seem to be anyone in North America or Europe.

Looking at the actual URLs now has me laughing. All they did was put the word "secret" in where the movie title would have been! Wow, what stealth.

This time they chose at least a fitting replacement. For the Bond trailer they chose 'tefam' which I've no idea if it contains some sort of inside joke.
And glad to hear that you didn't have to wait too long for the trailer to be released last night.

It seems like they bothered to find a nonsense word with Bond, but gave up trying too hard this time around. All I know is I'll be tempted to use "secret" again in the future. Might as well!
